Victoria, Brazil, Sept. 16 — Chipolbrok M/V MOON, a vessel aged over 20 years, successfully passed a Port State Control (PSC) inspection with zero deficiencies at the port of Victoria, Brazil, on September 16. As an aging vessel in service for more than 20 years, it faced an extremely high likelihood of being inspected during its call at Victoria, Brazil.

Thanks to full coordination between the ship and onshore teams, thorough preparations, and smooth communication during the inspection, the process concluded without any deficiencies.

On the inspection day, three PSC officers split into two teams to carry out the inspection. One team started from the bridge and move downward to check areas including the lifeboat and rescue boat decks, main deck, and storerooms. The other team, accompanied by the chief engineer, conducted a detailed inspection in the engine room. After the inspection concluded, the officers expressed gratitude to all crew members for their close cooperation and commended the excellent sanitary conditions on board, particularly highlighting the cleanliness of the deck and engine room. The inspection proceeded very smoothly, and the officers highly affirmed the vessel’s overall management standards. They subsequently issued zero-deficiency reports for the Port State Control (PSC) inspection and the Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC).

As an aging vessel in service for 20 years, this zero-deficiency report not only affirms all crew members’ previous hard work but also fully demonstrates the solid professional competence of M/V Moon’s crew and Chipolbrok’s rigorous, efficient ship management system. In upcoming voyages, M/V MOON will continue to uphold high standards, strengthen safety measures, and ensure successful completion of all missions.
