Signing Ceremony for FOUR 60,800 DWT New-Building Vessels

Zhou Jinglai, Chinese Managing Director of Chipolbrok, and Maciej Lepicki, Polish Managing Director, along with heads of relevant divisions from both sides, were in attendance towitness the signing of the new shipbuilding contract. Also present wereYang Yifeng, Chairman of Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard; Lyu Zhiyong, President of SDARI; Shao Yu, Chairman of CSSC Power (Group) Co., Ltd.; Yang He, General Manager of JIC Leasing CO., LTD, and representatives from the classification society and other project participants. Li Feng, Deputy Managing Director of Chipolbrok, and Zhu Xiang, Deputy General Manager of Sanfu Shipyard, signed the shipbuilding contract on behalf of respective parties.

As an all-new vessel design for the market, the ship features a bridge located at the bow,adding approximately 360 square meters of deck storage space.Equipped with three 200-ton cranes (boasting a combined lifting capacity of 400 tons), it has a 3,180 TEU capacity, with most containers stowed on the deck. Compliant with the latest regulations for new energy equipment transportation, the vessel increases the loading efficiency of wind turbine blades by over 20%.

Meeting Tier III nitrogen oxide emission standards and EEDI Phase III requirements, the vessel reduces daily fuel consumption by 1.5 tonnes, classifying it as an eco-friendly green ship. The addition of these new vessels will further upgrade Chipolbrok’s capabilities in heavy-lift and project cargo transportation.
