Recently, Chipolbrok’s M/V Taixingarrived at the Port of Constanța in Romania, carrying cargo for a large storage tank project in Hungary. Chipolbrok’s Central and Eastern Europe logistics platform coordinated the onward delivery to the project site. The tank measures 8.46 meters long, 4.48 meters wideand 4.78 meters high－far beyond standard transport dimensions. For cargoof this scale, the“last mile”is often more challenging than the ocean voyage itself. Based on the specific characteristics of the cargo, the Chipolbrok team carried out route surveys, selected suitable vehicles and obtained out-of-gaugetransport permitsand planned the routein advance. On one section of the route, the vehicle had to pass under a bridge with a vertical clearance of only4.8 meters. After repeatedconsultationswith the client, local agents and the transport fleet, the project team chosea roll trailer for the cross-border leg, and the tank passedthrough this sectionsafely.
